NIFA invites applications to support research in Sustainable Bioenergy

The National Institute of Food and Agriculture invites applications for the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative to support research in Sustainable Bioenergy that will achieve the long-term outcome of reducing the National dependence on foreign oil through the production of sustainable bioenergy. Approximately $11 million may be made available to support multiple awards. Eligibility is unrestricted domestically. Northland College awarded $4.7 million grant to further develop UAS program

Northland Community and Technical College has been awarded a $4.7 million United States of Labor grant. The grant is focused on developing an imagery analyst certificate program as part of Northland’s unmanned aerial systems (UAS) program in a Septmeber 29 story from the Grand Forks Herald.

NDSU Research Foundation Licenses Coatings Technology to Elinor Specialty Coatings

The NDSU Research Foundation (NDSU/RF) has concluded a license agreement with Elinor Specialty Coatings, Fargo, N.D., for removable protective coatings for outdoor bronze monuments and statues. NovaDigm Therapeutics Presents Positive Preclinical Data for NDV-3 Vaccine

NovaDigm Therapeutics, a company developing innovative vaccines for fungal and bacterial infections, today announced the presentation of positive data from a preclinical study evaluating the efficacy its NDV-3 vaccine in a model of vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), which is primarily caused by Candida albicans.
